<p>This module is designed to train persons who are responsible for undertaking Rail Defect Nominee as part of their duties on Network Rail infrastructure. It is designed to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills. An RDN will normally be someone without track engineering knowledge but who may, in the course of their own activities be called upon to act on the discovery of a broken or defective rail.</p>
